**About Us**
**We’re a small, fast-paced café by day, where our locals and regulars are the heart of our business. Daytimes we are known for our made to order focaccia sandwiches and great coffee. By night we focus on offering small plates, good tunes and a neat little wine list.**
**We are open Monday - Friday 7.30am - 3pm ( food stops at 2pm) and Friday nights 5pm - 8pm.**
**We host fun pop-up chef nights and events, adding energy and variety to our evenings while celebrating good food and great company.**
**The Role**
**We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Assistant Manager to join our close-knit team. This is an all-rounder role involving front-of-house leadership, jumping in to make our focaccia sandwiches, and helping deliver smooth day-to-night service.**
**You’ll be working closely with the owner to support operations, lead the team, and contribute to the ongoing growth and vibe of the space.**
**Responsibilities**
- **Lead and support the team during busy café and wine bar service**:
- **Jump in to make our famous focaccia sandwiches and assist with light food prep**:
- **Deliver warm, consistent customer service and build strong relationships with regulars**:
- **Assist with training, rostering, and daily shift management**:
- **Open and close the venue; manage POS systems and daily takings**:
- **Support with events and pop-up chef nights**:
- **Maintain compliance with food safety and liquor licensing regulations**
**About You**
- **Previous experience in a supervisor or assistant manager role**:
- **Comfortable working across both FOH and light kitchen prep**:
- **Happy to work both day and evening shifts**:
- **Loves building rapport with locals and regulars**:
- **Current RSA is essential**:
- **Calm, confident, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment**:
- **Barista skills and food handling experience are a bonus**

**How to Apply**
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
