Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Hospital - Mental Health Intensive Care Unit
What you'll be doing
You'll be a part of a multidisciplinary team committed to recovery-oriented practice, innovation and continuous improvement – making a real difference in the lives of consumers, their families/carers and the broader community.
* Drive clinical excellence in a dynamic multidisciplinary hospital team.
* You will be providing psychological support services in a recovery-oriented, trauma informed setting that are guided by evidence based practices and collaboration.
* You will take a senior clinical role in the management of complex cases and maintain a clinical caseload which will involve direct clinical work with adults with complex mental health disorders and risk factors
* Your clinical expertise and strategic vision will directly shape the delivery of holistic, person-centred care for individuals and with complex mental health and physical health needs, along with their families and carers.

Candidate Requirements
* Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist with a Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or relevant clinical area in psychology AND Post graduate experience in acute mental health and/or inpatient psychiatric settings.The postgraduate qualifications must be of no less than two years full time duration (or part-time equivalent) and include professional clinical coursework, clinical training and supervised placement experience as core components. Current NSW Drivers License.
* Demonstrated experience in the assessment, management and support of adult mental health consumers with high level acuity and complexity.
* Demonstrated clinical leadership capacity and clinical supervision skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, consultation and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and refine strategic relationships within multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience in project work or service development activities, that involve planning, developing, implementing, reviewing and evaluation of new initiatives within a health service context.
