Passionate about culturally responsive and safe health care?
We're seeking a Workforce Cultural Safety Coordinator (Identified) to lead a 12-month initiative that supports strengthening health care that's not just clinically effective — but culturally strong, safe, and responsive.
What you'll be doing
* Coordinating the delivery of a workforce cultural safety project guided by Wunan's Cultural Safety Framework
* Supporting and strengthening cultural safety workshops and cultural supervision activities across Wunan and partner organisations
* Engaging deeply with community, health providers, stakeholders and staff to shape resources and solutions that reflect local needs
* Helping build the tools — like a cultural competence toolkit — that will live beyond the project
* Working towards sustainable delivery models that will keep this work going long after the project ends
Why Join us?
* Support from a strong Aboriginal organisation that is grounded in culture and driven by outcomes
* Opportunities to grow professionally in a role that blends project coordination, resource development, stakeholder engagement and cultural leadership
* A welcoming, passionate and connected team
About you
* Passionate about championing culturally safe service delivery and workplaces and driving community-led solutions
* Has experience in health or social care, education, training or community development
* Is a natural connector, listener, and doer — someone who can hold space for community voices and also keep a project moving
* Is looking for work with purpose and impact
* Being an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person is a genuine occupational requirement for this position under Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984.

* Generous NFP remote-area salary packaging benefits
* Training and professional development
* Ultra modern, purpose-build facilities
* 12-month fixed-term contract (with possibility of extension)
