Client Executive
.
We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate and Commercial team at Marsh. This role will be based in Cairns. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role will suit an experienced insurance broker with 12 to 18 months experience managing a SME portfolio of business. It will provide exposure to a diverse portfolio of risks, participation in new business tenders and proposals, building a network of opportunities and assisting with the placement of complex insurance programs.
Responsibilities
Maintain a portfolio of key revenue-generating accounts while ensuring high-quality customer service.
Develop, pursue and convert new business opportunities.
Grow a commercial portfolio through new logo and organic expanded opportunities.
Assist with the placement of complex insurance programs and new business, providing valuable support to senior brokers and leadership.
On-board new clients and deliver on our value proposition.
Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers.
Plan, and implement effective renewal and broking strategies.
Ensure effective account retention and defense strategies are in place for all clients.
Actively participate in claim-related matters.
Qualifications
12 to 18 months broking experience.
Clear and effective communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team.
Moderate knowledge of risks and insurance products for key industry sectors.
Motivation to self-start, enhanced by time management skills.
Capability to identify and address issues through innovative thinking.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite and demonstrated ability to learn systems quickly.
Tier 1 Insurance Broking Qualifications or higher.
