Support Services Coordinator - Landcare NSW

* Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 Plus Superannuation

About Landcare NSW
Landcare NSW is a charity and not-for-profit, focused on generating improved environmental outcomes by advocating for the community Landcare movement in NSW.
Our mission is to advocate for the environment and enable our members to nurture productive, resilient landscapes and communities.
Landcare NSW is the state peak body of community-led conservation and natural resource management. It is the conduit between local Landcare communities and funders and decision-makers, supporting local Landcare communities by providing resources and representation.
The Support Services Coordinator role is funded under the NSW Landcare Enabling Program, a $59 million, four -year NSW Government-funded program administered by Local Land Services.
The Opportunity
The aim of the Support Services Hub is to work with external vendors to provide cost effective, efficient and centralised legal, human resource, finance, administration, information technology, grant development services to support NSW Landcare member groups and Landcare Coordinators. These services will drive best practice and consistency across the state.
Key responsibilities include:
* Manage a Support Services Hub offering centralised best-practice legal, human resource, finance, administration, grant development and external vendor support services for Landcare organisations. Ensure all information, services and templates are regularly updated and maintained.
* Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with preferred suppliers and other key partners.
* Negotiate competitive pricing, discounts, value‑added offers and service improvements to support program delivery and organisational cost efficiency.
* Coordinate procurement needs, ensuring suppliers understand requirements and deliver high‑quality products and services.
* Monitor supplier performance and proactively address issues, opportunities, or emerging needs.
* Maintain clear communication with internal teams to ensure supplier agreements align with operational priorities and budget considerations.
* Monitor, analyse, evaluate and report on the Support Services Hub to demonstrate key performance indicators and outcomes are being met.
* Collect and analyse operational data to identify emerging trends and log problem records to assist with problem resolution.
* Report to the Landcare Enabling Program Manager to align operational and strategic priorities.
About you and what you bring:
You are a strategic thinker with a track record in stakeholder management and service delivery, ideally within the not-for-profit, environmental or membership-based sector. You are comfortable operating autonomously in a lean environment and can balance high-level strategy with practical delivery.
Qualifications & experience:
* Industry experience in delivering programs of a complex and multi-faceted nature
* Excellent attention to detail, with planning, time management and organisational skills
* Stakeholder engagement experience with an ability to work effectively with volunteers, hosts, committees, funding bodies and Government departments
* Strong relationship‑building skills with the confidence to engage suppliers, manage ongoing partnerships, and build trust quickly.
* Effective sales‑style communication abilities, including influencing, negotiating, and securing favourable outcomes.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to assess pricing, quality, and value across a range of supplier offerings.
* Professional communication skills — both verbal and written — with the ability to represent the organisation clearly and credibly.
* Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple supplier interactions simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
* Proven ability to analyse processes and a commitment to continuous improvement.
