The Strategy Consultant – Enterprise Architecture will work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to shape and deliver the enterprise strategy for our client. This role will provide strategic direction for enterprise blueprints, major projects, and transformative initiatives while collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to craft a comprehensive IT strategy. The consultant will ensure that architecture frameworks align with our client’s strategic goals, offering guidance on standards, roadmaps, methodologies, and design patterns. They will also manage architecture-related risks, mentor architects, and support the PTP Phase 2 program to ensure alignment with the Chief Enterprise Architect’s vision. This role does not have direct reports. Key Responsibilities: Develop enterprise architecture blueprints and strategies to support business goals. Contribute to the formulation of our client’s IT and Digital strategies. Lead the design of enterprise architectures for PTP Phase 2, encompassing applications, integrations, infrastructure, security (including cloud and network architecture), in alignment with broader enterprise architecture frameworks, governance, and operational standards. Take ownership of and maintain the technology and application portfolios for PTP Phase 2, defining strategies and roadmaps for transformation activities and implementation of interrelated IT projects, with a focus on reducing technical debt and simplifying the technology landscape. Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders—both internal and external—including business teams, architects (enterprise, domain, program, solutions), and customers. Support strategic alignment between business needs and architectural solutions, particularly in complex projects, while managing competing demands and resourcing. Monitor, review, and report on enterprise architecture and IT project delivery progress against agreed objectives and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful delivery. Establish and maintain enterprise architecture artefacts and documentation in tools such as System Architect, SPARX Enterprise Architect, ARIS, Nintex, iServer, and similar platforms.
