About the Role and Where You Will Be Working
We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Care Worker to join our team at Germanus Kent House in Broome. This is a permanent part‑time position, working a mix of AM and PM shifts.
Since 2008, Germanus Kent House has been caring for the local Broome community. Our modern facility accommodates up to 55 residents, providing a safe, welcoming environment where residents feel at home.
What You'll Do
* Assist with personal care such as showering and dressing.
* Read and follow individual care plans.
* Work under the guidance of Shift Managers (Nursing & Facility).
* Build strong, respectful relationships with residents and their families.
* Show compassion and patience in every interaction.
About You
* You enjoy spending time with elderly people and are comfortable working independently.
* You're organised, proactive, and able to multitask effectively.
* You have great communication skills (spoken and written) and attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
To Be Considered, You'll Need
* Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support.
* Initiative and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
