Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Berrinba team.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager you will work alongside the Restaurant Manager to ensure the smooth running of the store and its employees.
Responsibilities
* Opening and closing the store
* Supervising, training and managing employees including juniors
* Conducting performance evaluations and ensuring outstanding results
* Trialing and training new employees
* Monitoring store performance and meeting KPIs
* Rostering, inventory, ordering and reporting
* Handling customer complaints and concerns
* Running a drive‐thru service
* Food preparation, including deep‐fryer and grill use
* Cash handling and register operation
* Cleaning and maintaining the store
Qualifications
* Strong and demonstrated management experience
* Leadership skills; motivating and leading a young team, setting goals and ensuring they are achieved
* Excellent customer service skills
* Understanding of, and ability to enforce, food safety regulations
* Strong time‐management skills
* Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
* Attention to detail to keep the store clean and in good order
* Experience in training and development
* Motivation to keep your team motivated and on task
* Ability to work as a team with a friendly attitude and genuine passion for the fast‐food industry
Mandatory Requirements
* Food Safety Certificate – I'm Alert Food Safety Course (free online)
* Working rights – passport and visa grant for international workers
* RSA Certificate to be obtained within 30 days of commencing employment
