We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Human Resources Officer to contribute to the smooth and effective administration of the College's HR functions. Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a range of HR activities.
This is a flexible part-time (0.6 FTE to 0.8 FTE) opportunity offered on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the administration of staff recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
* Manage and oversee the College's HRMS system
* Monitor and maintain staff compliance requirements
* Update position descriptions, staff records, and HR documentation
* Support the coordination of staff induction programs
* Assist the College's Payroll department with online timesheet and leave request management
About You
The successful candidate will bring:
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Familiarity with HRMS systems; working knowledge of OrgView and Synergetic will be highly regarded
* A strong understanding of confidentiality and privacy requirements
* High-level computer literacy and excellent organisational skills
* A current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain them
* Willingness to complete Mandatory Reporting and other relevant training
* A commitment to supporting the Edmund Rice charism and Catholic education
