The Company

With long‐standing partnerships with Australia's leading insurance companies and loss assessors, this business continues to thrive and grow. Due to increasing demand, they are now seeking an experienced Estimator/Supervisor to join their high‐performing team in Rockhampton.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a dual Estimator/Supervisor role where you'll be responsible for assessing property damage, estimating repair costs, and supervising trades to ensure timely, high‐quality restorations.
Your day‐to‐day responsibilities will include:
* Conducting building insurance assessments and preparing detailed reports
* Supervising building reinstatement works
* Engaging, coordinating, and managing trades throughout the restoration process
* Monitoring job progress and resolving issues as they arise
* Liaising with insurance companies and insured parties
* Organising property access with insured clients
* Managing disputes and delivering timely resolutions
* Ensuring all works comply with OH&S requirements and contractual obligations
* Coordinating inspections and sign-offs from building surveyors
The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally bring:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in an estimating and/or supervising role
* Previous experience in insurance building (highly desirable but not essential)
* Trade qualifications in building (carpentry preferred) or a related field
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Solid computer literacy
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
* Good knowledge of OHS legislation and industry regulations
* Familiarity with current market rates and trade practices
* The ability to provide accurate estimates independently
* A current and valid driver's licence
