Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is about more than maintaining grounds and gardens. It is an prospect to connect with residents through Lifeview’s Planting with a Purpose and Re-Cycle programs. Lifeview is a Victorian-based residential aged care provider operating four homes with 284 beds in the south-eastern suburbs. We pride ourselves on quality of life with award-winning lifestyle programs, innovation, inclusivity, and Rainbow Tick accreditation. Lifeview has developments in the pipeline, including Lifeview Marigold, a LGBTQI+ and friends home in Prahran, featuring innovative technologies and designs focused on resident wellness and outcomes. About you: 
- Passionate about all things horticulture 
- Previous experience in Aged Care, Hospitals or Schools 
- You take pride in your job and love the look of a well-maintained garden 
- Ability to manage maintenance schedules and ad hoc projects 
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant OH&S;
Requirements: 
- Current Police Check suitable for Aged Care 
- Current Drivers license and reliable vehicle 
- Minimum Cert 3 in Horticulture or similar qualification 
- Working at Heights Certificate (desirable, not essential) 
- ChemCERT certificate (desirable, not essential) 
- Experience in the use of lawn mowers, whipper snippers, edgers and hedging tools 
- Irrigation system knowledge 
- Initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision 
- Flexibility to travel to different Lifeview residences with short notice
