**Group Sales Manager (12-month fixed-term contract)**:

**About The Role**
In the Group Sales Manager position, you will work closely with an assigned group of agencies and be required to develop a deep understanding of the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (endemic) and non-endemic brands within your territory in order to drive client-focused sales ambitions.
In this market-facing role, you will require you to build trusted relationships and educate agencies on the value proposition and benefits of the Woolworths ecosystem. You will utilise key insights to help agencies identify opportunities and put forward strategic sales recommendations that deliver optimal and measurable outcomes.
You will have a number of Account Managers reporting to you who will assist with campaign delivery and execution to ensure high levels of service are met.
As Group Sales Manager, you report directly to the Head of Agency Sales.
Key responsibilities:
Commercial Performance and Reporting:
- Consistently meet and exceed revenue goals by developing robust quarterly/annual business and action plans
- Drive advertising revenue growth by developing data-led marketing solutions for FMCG and non-endemic advertisers
- Identify opportunities for new business growth to generate incremental revenue
- Negotiate successful and profitable partnership contracts
- Accurate revenue forecasting and reporting
Market Engagement and Sales Acumen:
- Build the profile of Cartology among agency partners with the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition and client opportunities
- Develop and maintain key agency relationships, building trust and ensuring high levels of service
- Engage agency teams on strategic issues and unlock opportunities to support their overall marketing objectives by leveraging the digital and data capabilities of Cartology and Woolworths Group
- Develop and present high value, strategic proposals in response to client and agency partnership briefs
- Acquire a deep understanding of your client's business strategy and challenges, but also of the Retail, FMCG and non-endemic categories
Internal Collaboration and Service:
- Partner with internal teams to develop the Cartology offering to better serve agency partnerships
- Work cross-functionally with the vertical sales teams, business operations, client strategy, and product marketing to optimise our sales efforts by delivering strategic proposals and negotiating high value deal flow with FMCG and non-endemic brands and their agencies
Team Leadership and Campaign Management:
- Manage a team, and build a high-performance culture of collaboration and accountability
- Ensure exceptional client service and campaign management amongst your team members
- Effectively manage aspects of customer and agency satisfaction to increase the customers experience and expectations
**About You**
To succeed in this role, you need to demonstrate:
- 6+ years' experience in digital advertising or agency sales
- Strong sales experience with proven ability to drive revenue results
- Existing relationships with mid to senior level across media agencies
- Ability to develop strategic business plans, media schedules and presentations from scratch
- Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills with a focus on customer service
- Experience working in both entrepreneurial and established corporate cultures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through
- Ability to go above and beyond in your role, demonstrating initiative and drive
- Strong Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides skills
- Successful internal and external relationship management
