Machinery Assembly & Workshop Supervision.

Critical Infrastructure Technologies is a manufacturer of high-capacity autonomous communications systems based in South Fremantle, Western Australia.
We are getting busy and need people to build our flagship Nexus 20 product to fill current orders.
Reporting to the CTO, the role would suit someone with experience in mechanical assembly or electrical trades who is keen to develop new skills and grow in seniority as the business expands.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or electrical trades.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
* Overall management of the workshop operations
* Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience is required.
* Management of parts and tool logistics.
* Take the lead in quality management in production.
* Capable of performing a variety of tasks that include mechanical assembly and some light steel fabrication.
* Willing to learn new skills like MRP management, fabrication, and equipment assembly.
* Supervising contract tradesman welders and fabricators as required.
Skills and Experience
* Keen eye for safety and understanding of safety principals.
* Ability to use power and hand tools safely.
* Good listening skills and willingness to contribute to problem solving.
* Flexible and willing to be trained in new skills as required.
* Western Australian Drivers License.
* Forklift ticket and forklift experience (Preferred).
* Must be Australian citizens or permanent residents only.
