The role of the Technical Sales Specialist is to drive business development and sales growth by understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions. This involves working closely with the Engineering, Design, and Production teams to develop and deliver customized products that meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary point of contact for customers to ensure their needs are understood and suitable products are recommended.
* Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and follow up to close sales.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver solutions for customers.
* Provide timely and considered technical advice to respond to customer enquiries.
Requirements:
* Possess a passion for engineering/technical solutions.
* Bachelor's degree or trade qualification in an engineering discipline (advantageous).
* Experience in a sales/marketing role in a technical environment.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills with awareness of commercial implications of decisions.
* Proven computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook.
