Job Overview
The role of Pharmacy Manager is a high-level leadership position that oversees the day-to-day operations of a specialized pharmacy and its team members. The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for leading and managing pharmacy operations, providing clinical oversight, and supporting and mentoring a team of pharmacists and technicians.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage pharmacy operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
* Provide clinical oversight to ensure the highest level of patient care.
* Support and mentor a team of pharmacists and technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Collaborate with on-site oncologists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement in pharmacy services through process improvements and strategic planning.
Requirements
* Current AHPRA general registration as a pharmacist.
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a pharmacist in an Australian setting.
* Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to build effective relationships with clinicians and hospital executives.
