Highway Operations Manager Job Description
Lead Highway Team in the Darwin Workshop
* Achieve key performance indicators for revenue, gross margin, and operational efficiency
* Direct Service Department operations to ensure effective service delivery and customer satisfaction
* Enhance customer experience across all aspects of Service Department
* Drive improvement initiatives in Safety, Quality, and Productivity
* Support development of Service Team members for personal growth and effective service delivery
* General supervision and responsibility for Highway areas to meet customer schedules and optimize resource utilization
* Lead and coach technicians in repair routines promoting safety and quality
* Promote productivity and efficiency improvements with technicians to maximize profitability and efficiency
About You
* Degree qualifications - Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
* At least 5 years' experience in Heavy Vehicle or Engine Business
* Demonstrated experience in workforce development and motivation
* Experience in interpreting business financial information
* Ability to understand technical product information and resolve issues
* Demonstrated skills in managing customer relationships
* Experience in managing budgets (capital and revenue)
* Leadership and supervisory skills
