Your new role
Your new role as a Customer Service Representative you will join a fantastic team responsible for duties not limited to:
* Handle incoming phone calls confidently and professionally, ensuring excellent customer service.
* Process and manage key customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
* Maintain and oversee customer accounts, including updates and issue resolution.
* Perform general administrative tasks to support daily operations.
* Complete data entry tasks and ensure proper filing and organisation of documents.
* Set up new product items in the system and create detailed job specifications.
* Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure availability and accuracy.
* Handle petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
* Prepare and provide quotes and estimates for customers as required.
* Act as a backup for the Purchasing Officer, assisting with procurement tasks when needed.
* Undertake other duties as directed to support the team and business objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will meet the following criteria:
* Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and confidently, especially when handling phone calls and engaging with customers.
* Strong organisational skills with experience in managing customer accounts and processing orders accurately.
* High attention to detail for administrative tasks, including data entry, document filing, and maintaining accurate records.
* Solid understanding of inventory control and financial processes, such as stock management and petty cash handling.
* Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities, including supporting purchasing activities and taking on additional responsibilities when required.
* Proactive problem-solving skills with the capability to set up new items, create job specifications, and prepare accurate quotes or estimates.
