The Canberra Hospital Intensive Care Unit is a 36-bed Level 3 Territory Referral Centre, admitting over 2,700 patients annually and holding unlimited accreditation with the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand. As a core member of ANZICS, the unit meets training requirements in Neurosurgery, Cardio-Thoracic, and Trauma, while actively contributing to international research and offering exceptional opportunities for teaching and collaboration. Serving a population of more than 650,000 across the ACT and surrounding NSW, CHS is the region's only tertiary teaching hospital. At the heart of this dynamic environment, the Clinical Development Nurse drives professional growth through education, mentorship, and clinical support, combining expert knowledge with outstanding communication skills and a passion for empowering nurses at every stage of their career.
