OPPORTUNITY | Relationship Manager

– Borrower Services Team, Gold Coast HMC Private Credit, part of the HMC Capital Group, an ASX-listed company, is a leading mid‑market commercial real‑estate lender. With $2bn in AUM and having deployed over $6.7bn since inception, we deliver tailored financing solutions that support property growth and help address Australia’s housing undersupply.

Central to our success is our Borrower Services Team, a market‑leading origination group specialising in bespoke lending solutions designed to meet the unique needs of each borrower. Our highly experienced team is also dedicated to delivering stable, risk‑adjusted returns for investors.

Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Relationship Manager located on the Gold Coast, QLD. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, analysing financial information, and providing tailored private credit solutions. The role partners with the Gold Coast Relationship Director, Senior Relationship Manager and existing Relationship Manager.

In this role, you will focus on supporting the origination process for lending opportunities within Queensland and assisting the team with:

Preparation and management of loan applications from origination to settlement

Conducting due diligence on loans

Construction facility management oversight

Maintaining CRM systems and ensuring accurate data integrity

Supporting compliance and risk management for lending opportunities

Working with the relevant support teams across the business to deliver successful lending outcomes

Assisting across the Borrower Services Team to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills

Experience in financial analysis, credit assessment, and risk management

Knowledge of private credit, commercial real‑estate financing, and asset finance

Problem‑solving, decision‑making, and negotiation skills

Ability to manage multiple client accounts and handle complex client needs

Proficiency in financial software tools and Microsoft Office

Relevant qualifications in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field

Previous experience in private credit or financial services is advantageous
