ONCALL is currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial reporting, compliance, and accounting functions of the organization. Your key responsibilities will include: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Manage general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance and analysis. Lead or assist in internal and external audits, liaising with auditors and ensuring documentation is complete and compliant. Maintain compliance with statutory obligations, including tax returns, BAS/GST, FBT, and payroll tax. Oversee payroll accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and payroll accruals. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Develop and maintain internal control procedures and financial policies. Provide technical accounting guidance and stay updated on changes in accounting standards. Support system improvements and finance-related projects, including ERP implementations or upgrades. You will bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent professional designation) Substantial experience in a financial accounting role Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements Understanding of accounting management of payroll data Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience in Health Care/Disability sector and exposure to tax planning and compliance will be highly valued Sound Interesting?
