As a Maintenance Person, you will play a key role in ensuring the property is consistently maintained to a high standard across guest rooms, facilities, and common areas. You will be responsible for identifying, prioritising, and resolving maintenance issues efficiently, while minimising disruption to guests and supporting the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests across the property
* Carry out repairs and upkeep with minimal disruption to guests
* Maintain clean and safe work areas at all times
* Escalate complex issues requiring specialist support
* Perform general repairs to fixtures, fittings, furniture, and equipment
* Undertake painting (internal and external) and minor refurbishments
* Replace light fittings and complete routine maintenance tasks
* Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce recurring issues
Equipment & Facilities
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
* Identify faults and arrange repairs or servicing when required
* Ensure proper storage and safe use of all equipment
Grounds & External Areas (if applicable)
* Maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces
* Ensure grounds are clean, tidy, and well-presented
* Monitor and maintain pool areas where applicable
Administration
* Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records
* Monitor stock levels of spare parts and materials
* Assist with coordinating external contractors when required
Customer Service
* Work closely with Front Office and Housekeeping teams
* Interact professionally with guests when required
* Respond to guest requests in a timely and helpful manner
Health & Safety
* Follow all OH&S policies and safe work practices
* Identify and report hazards or risks
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and compliantly
