Senior Advisor, Employee Insights

* Ongoing, Clerk Grade 9/10 ($129,464 - $142,665) opportunity based in Martin Place, Sydney

About the Role

As a Senior Advisor you will manage specialist projects and programs that support Employee Insights priorities, including key People Matter Employee Survey deliverables. You will provide high-quality, timely advice to the Manager and Director on progress, risks and issues to support informed decision-making and workforce outcomes.

The role coordinates end-to-end project delivery, including planning, stakeholder engagement, implementation and evaluation to ensure alignment with Government and organisational objectives. You will also prepare briefs and executive correspondence and build strong stakeholder relationships to progress priority initiatives. Join our Employee Insights team within Workforce Planning branch in the People and Workforce group.

We're Looking For

* Project Management: Lead end‐to‐end delivery of complex workforce analytics projects, managing scope, risks, dependencies and governance to achieve strategic outcomes.
* Communicate Effectively: Translate complex survey and workforce data into clear, influential briefs, reports and recommendations for senior and executive audiences.
* Work Collaboratively: Build and sustain strong cross‐agency relationships, lead working groups and influence stakeholders to deliver shared priorities.
* Think and Solve Problems: Analyse large, complex datasets to identify emerging trends and risks, providing evidence‐based written advice to inform workforce planning.
* Deliver Results: Manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced environment, proactively addressing issues to deliver high‐quality outcomes on time.
* Technology and Data Literacy: Use survey platforms, data systems and reporting tools to produce high‐quality insights, dashboards and project documentation.
