**About the Role**:
As a Cemetery Officer, your role is crucial in providing quality cemetery service operations to meet the needs of Council's residents, ratepayers, and the broader community. Undertake various cemetery services, including grave preparation, ash placement, and headstone installation. Engage with diverse stakeholders to ensure optimal service delivery outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities & Outcomes**:
- Undertake cemetery services and associated operations, ensuring quality service delivery.
- Prepare grave sites for burials, place ashes in columbarium walls, and install headstones and plaques.
- Engage with diverse stakeholders to optimise service delivery outcomes.
- Ensure correct use and maintenance of plant and equipment, following safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedures and work instructions relevant to Cemetery Services.
- Contribute actively to a work environment promoting participation, teamwork, and innovation.
**About You**:
- ** Cemetery Operations**: Sound skills and technical knowledge in cemetery operations.
- ** Team Collaboration**: Strong experience in working as part of a broader team across various work sites.
- ** Customer Service**: Sound experience in customer service, particularly in communicating with grieving members of the public in a sensitive and courteous manner.
- ** Manual Tasks**: Experience in undertaking manual tasks safely and conscientiously.
- Current C class driver's licence.
- Construction Induction Card competency obtained within the past 2 years.
