The Role 
The College is seeking to appoint an experienced Secondary Teacher - Psychology who is committed to delivering quality learning experiences that see students achieve their personal best. With proven experience in teaching Psychology, the successful candidate will also play a key role in shaping and developing the College’s growing Psychology program. This role will commence from Term 1, 2026. All teaching staff at Coomera Anglican College are expected to participate in the whole life of the College, including involvement in pastoral care, sport, cocurricular activities, and special event days.

- Demonstrate passion for teaching Psychology and proven experience engaging Secondary students in their learning. 
- Ability to differentiate effectively, catering for the diverse needs of learners while maintaining high expectations and delivering quality educational outcomes. 
- Commitment to contemporary teaching and learning practices that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and student growth. 
- Skilled in the purposeful integration of digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning. 
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Australian Curriculum, with the ability to design and deliver effective programs. 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build positive, respectful relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the wider College community. 
In addition, the candidate must hold appropriate tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education as well as current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration. All staff at Coomera Anglican College are expected to uphold the Anglican ethos and adhere to the Code of Conduct for Anglican Schools and Education & Care Centres, demonstrating a commitment to the College’s values and contributing positively to its culture.
