* Quality Oversight: Uphold and enforce our high-quality standards with the team, the suppliers and ensure this mentality permeates throughout the production process.
* Documentation: Ensure all job paperwork and plans are accurate, up-to-date, and importantly are clearly communicated to the team.
* Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and support our small team of 6 with a calm but clear communication. Mentor to develop skills for the future and correct to ensure quality work today.
* Machinery: Oversee the variety of machinery we operate and ensure overall workshop OH&S. Maintain it to ensure continuity and input where you see opportunities for investment or process improvement.

About You

* Workshop Supervision Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of workshop supervision experience is required for this position.
* Organisation: Exceptional organisational skills and importantly the ability to comfortably manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Systemisation: A systematic mind who sees every error and rework job as a chance to tighten up the internal systems. You'll have an appreciation of modern manufacturing methods such as lean manufacturing.
* Leadership: A firm but fair manager who leads by example and fosters a culture of pride in every project that goes out the door.
* Quality Focus: Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of not only workmanship, but also customer service and safety.
* CAD / Detailing Knowledge: (advantageous) Be able to produce shop ready CAD drawings and specifications for the production team to work to.
