This firm also manages the affairs of individuals under disability through VCAT’s Guardianship List. They are now looking for a talented Lawyer (2-4 years PAE) with strong experience in Estate Planning and Litigation. What’s in it for you?: $110,000 - $120,000 Super commensurate with experience Work with a team of seasoned professionals in a forward-thinking, client-focused practice Escape the corporate environment: no rigid KPIs or unrealistic billables Be part of a supportive, collegial culture that values excellence and collaboration Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 from home Highly engaged client base and meaningful, rewarding work Mentoring from Doyles Guide leading estate litigation lawyers and 2 LIV Wills and Estates Accredited Specialists What do you do?: Manage a diverse caseload of estate planning and estate litigation matters Draft wills, POAs, testamentary trusts, and related documentation Advise clients on probate and letters of administration Represent clients in contested estate matters, including Family Provision Claims and guardianship disputes Engage directly with clients, counsel, and relevant courts/tribunals Assist with the administration of deceased estates and complex files Work autonomously while collaborating with the wider team What do you need?: 2-4 years post-admission experience (PAE) in wills and estates law Demonstrated experience in wills & estate planning (essential) Demonstrated experience in estate litigation (e.g., Part IV claims, contested wills, VCAT matters) Probate experience (ideally) Empathy, strong client communication, and a mature approach to sensitive legal issues Excellent drafting and organisational skills If you're as passionate about this position as we are, then please don't delay and APPLY NOW!
