Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Principal Engineer to become a key part of our Urban Development team on the Sunshine Coast. As a Principal Engineer, you’ll take charge of a talented group of Engineers, steering them towards delivering outstanding results for a wide array of clients. Collaborating closely with the leadership team, you’ll play an essential role in nurturing client relationships and driving business growth throughout the region. This is an opportunity to lead impactful projects in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of engineers to deliver projects for clients in Urban Development.
* Collaborate with the leadership team to nurture client relationships and drive business growth in the region.
* Guide project execution to meet client objectives while maintaining quality and schedule.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders and support business development opportunities.
* Apply strong technical expertise in civil design with knowledge of guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes.
* Contribute to and support greenfield projects, water environments, and water resource management.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
* 12+ years’ experience in Urban Development
* CPEng status and RPEQ
* Strong organisational and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagements and business development opportunities
* Experience in managing projects meeting client objectives
* Strong technical expertise in civil design with knowledge of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes
* Strong understanding of greenfield projects, water environments, and water resource management
