Logistics Operations Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Logistics Operations Manager to lead our warehouse and logistics teams across all sites.
This is a national role requiring travel to various sites across the east coast of Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead warehouse teams to ensure safe and efficient operations, including receiving, put away, picking, and dispatching.
* Champion safety leadership and governance, driving a proactive Zero Harm culture.
* Guide Warehouse Managers and Inventory Controllers to exceed stakeholder expectations.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise logistics solutions and meet business needs.
* Design and implement innovative warehouse layouts and process flows to maximise safety, quality, delivery, and cost outcomes.
* Drive change management initiatives to align resources and processes with evolving business requirements.
About the Position:
* Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a commitment to team development, continuous improvement, and innovation.
* Ability to make critical decisions in complex or ambiguous situations.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
* Ability to lead by example and model high standards of behaviour.
* Experience in a technically complex warehousing and logistics environment, preferably in industries such as automotive, aerospace, rail, or mining.
