About the role
Landscape Elements is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Balcatta, Western Australia. As an Irrigation Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, installation, and maintenance of irrigation systems for our diverse range of commercial projects. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work with a reputable and growing company in the construction industry.
What you'll be doing
* Supervising and coordinating irrigation installation crews and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Overseeing the installation of irrigation systems, including pipework, sprinklers, and control systems.
* Interpreting and executing project plans and specifications to meet client requirements.
* Conducting site inspections and identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
* Collaborating with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Ensuring strict adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental practices.
* Providing training and mentorship to less experienced members of the team.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the construction process.
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Supervisor or a similar role in the construction industry.
* An interest in irrigation system design, installation, and maintenance.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment used in the irrigation industry.
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans, technical specifications, and drawings.
* Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and project management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
* Commitment to safety and a proven track record of promoting and implementing safe work practices.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in irrigation or a related field.
