About the Opportunity
Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated full‐time Maintenance Officer to join our close‐knit Engineering Team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our health facilities are well maintained, safe, and fully operational. You will be responsible for performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to support the smooth functioning of our healthcare environment. This position is integral to maintaining compliance with safety standards and delivering a high‐quality experience for patients, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications
* Carpentry / Building / Plastering / Painting based experience
* Experience in facilities maintenance highly regarded (health care experience preferred)
* Current Victorian driver's license
* Knowledge of maintenance related issues within a facility
* Excellent interpersonal & effective communication skills
* A strong customer and team focus is a must
* An innovative, practical approach to maintenance problem solving
* Able to multitask job priorities
Required Evidence
* A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
* Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
