An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Podiatrist to join our dynamic Diabetes Foot Service and Podiatry Department at Western Health as an ongoing part time role as a Grade 2 Podiatrist (2 days per week - 0.4 FTE), with the possibility of increased hours in the short term.
The Podiatry Department provides service across Western Health including Footscray, Sunshine and Williamstown Hospitals. The role includes a busy caseload of inpatients and outpatients and home based care across the continuum of care with a focus on acute high risk foot complications. The department has a strong emphasis on professional development, quality improvement, research and excellence in clinical practice.
To be successful in this role you must:
1. Have relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist
2. Be willing to work across different programs, services and sites to deliver Podiatric care
3. Work well as a member of both a Podiatry and interdisciplinary team
4. Have a solid level of computer literacy to navigate relevant systems required to undertake the role
* Be willing to take part in supervision and develop professionally
