About the Opportunity
As part of the Group SHS team, the role plays an important part of driving the BeSafe program across the Group, including facilitating, embedding and educating teams on the BeSafe Behaviours, Critical Risk and Site Action Plans.
The role also has responsibility for the Group internal safety audit schedule and general support and assistance to the divisions with maintaining compliance and certifications, as well as future certification requirements.
This position provides a valuable platform to enhance your capability and build cross-divisional knowledge throughout Qube.

General Responsibilities
Integration of the Be Safe program, working collaboratively with divisions
Roll-out initiatives and campaigns associated with Be Safe, including the Be Safe Leadership Program (co responsibility with Group Manager H&W)
Opportunities to be able to execute our system declutter objectives,
SHSMS system simplification
Working collaboratively with our System Manager/Administrator to streamline our processes and systems.
Auditor Duties
Complete and oversee Group Audit schedule for that period (divisional)
Complete 'pre-acquisition' due diligence audits as required and directed
Complete 'post-acquisition' audits per the schedule set for that acquisition (at 1 month and again at 3 months) to ensure that Safety, Health & Sustainability Management System management system (SHSMS) is implemented
Interface with Auditors, Client Relation Managers and Operations
Contribute to the development and achievement of certified management systems
Undertake critical risk audits to ensure that the critical risk standard is verified and tested across the business
Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders including SHS and Operation teams, to ensure that audit issues raised are appropriately addressed
Provide SHS expertise in relation certification and compliance to the business
Any other assigned tasks
Data Analytics
Develop meaningful data sets on a regular basis to meet reporting requirements (monthly, quarterly, annually
Develop improved data analytics alongside IT and systems team to ensure fulsome use of INX system.
Continuous improvement efforts with divisions to ensure data input is correct and aligned to Qube standards
Any other reporting activities as required
Qualifications and Experience
A relevant Tertiary Qualification and/or significant experience in senior SHS roles highly desirable
Proven ability to deliver business outcomes through strategic approach
Pragmatic and outcome driven at all times
Qualified lead auditor
Demonstrated experience in managing certification audit programs
Knowledge in the development and delivery of SHS Management Plans and Systems
Experience coaching and training others and working collaboratively to deliver project outcomes
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strategic thinking and ability to engage at all levels
Excellent data and reporting ability
