My client is currently looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to join a leading Tier 2 business that has a great name within the commercial construction industry in Sydney. The business operate in a variety of sectors including commercial, hotels and residential. As a Senior Safety Advisor you will drive and facilitate the site management of Health, Safety & Environmental activities including but not limited to: Providing specialist safety guidance to project leaders & site supervisors/workers. Positively advocate facilitation of HE&E duties through mentoring and coaching Assess data via lag indicators (audits & incidents) to map trends and help influence the projects safety approach. Support the implementation of safety initiatives and new technologies to improve culture and company performance (HammerTech) Requirements Demonstrated practical construction related safety coordination/management experience & knowledge, delivering small to large projects; built form (preferably), civil construction or infrastructure for government and/or private clients WHS industry relevant qualifications and certificates Collaborative communication skills consistent with effective consultation, influencing and relationship building.
