**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide on-site and remote support for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing DAta Centre hardware issues, including servers, storage devices, and networking equipment.
- Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of hardware components as required by the client.
- Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of IT systems and hardware.
- Respond promptly to client requests for ADHOC technical support and resolve issues within specified timeframes.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration and functionality of hardware within broader IT environments.
- Document all service activities, resolutions, and recommendations for future reference.
- Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure expectations are met and satisfaction is achieved.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in IT hardware support, and experience going to data centers and doing Induction.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues efficiently and accurately.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical users.
- Flexibility to work on a part-time or ADHOC basis, depending on client needs.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferable but not mandatory.
