We are seeking an Accountant with a passion for numbers to join our team in our corporate office. If you have excellent attention to detail and can manage multiple tasks, this could be the role for you.
The successful candidate will have a qualification in Business, Finance or Accounting, and will be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. You will bring excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient in Excel & Microsoft Office Suite. Xero and MYOB EXO knowledge is desirable but not essential.
As an Accountant, your duties will include preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, preparing monthly general journal postings: depreciation, accruals, prepayments, posting inter-company debtor/creditor settlements and loan reconciliations, and reconciling plant and equipment leases. You will also be responsible for maintaining Trust ledgers, bank reconciliations and trial balances (excel and Xero), assisting Group Accountant with monthly reporting and year end processes, reconciling Wages and superannuation, and assisting with Adhoc projects.
