Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an accomplished academic to contribute to and establish new research capabilities within a dynamic program. This role will involve delivering teaching in microbiology/parasitology, zoonotic diseases, and biotechnology, introducing innovative approaches at all undergraduate levels.
You will supervise Honours, Masters, and PhD students and may travel to China as part of the Haide College program.
About the Role:
* PhD or equivalent degree in Biological/Biomedical Sciences with a focus on molecular and/or protein biology
* Demonstrated research excellence and knowledge in molecular and/or protein biology, including publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals
* Potential to contribute positively to or obtain external funding as a co/lead investigator (Level A)
* Demonstrated success in contributing to or obtaining external funding as a co/lead investigator (Level B)
* Teaching experience in parasite molecular and/or protein biology at undergraduate level with ability to use modern pedagogy techniques (Level B)
* Experience in supervision of Honours, Masters, and/or PhD level students (Level B)
