The Position:
Catholic Education Northern Territory is seeking a passionate Landscape Gardener to care for our vibrant school communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces to a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic appeal.
- Plan and implement seasonal planting schedules in line with environmental and sustainability best practices.
- Carry out daily gardening tasks including planting, pruning, watering, weeding, and mulching.
- Manage ordering of plants, soil, tools, and supplies, ensuring stock rotation and cost efficiency.
- Oversee garden maintenance budget to ensure sustainable and cost-effective operations.
About you:
- Has proven experience in landscaping
- Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to create secure, inclusive, and engaging environments for children.
- Lives and breathes Catholic values and is an active member of a Eucharistic community (we also welcome applications from individuals of other faiths who are deeply committed to their values).
- Holds a current Working with Children (Ochre) Card and First Aid Certificate.
