The role of the Child Care Educator in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is to **assist the Coordinator in providing a quality program for children in Before and After School Care and in Vacation Care**. This includes assisting to safely take children to school in the mornings and collect them in the afternoons.
This vacancy is to support our OSHC function within the business.
**Essential**:
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
- Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or be willing to obtain)
- Previous experience with young children
- Understanding of the needs of children in a group care setting
- Ability to form positive relationships with children and engage with them in play experiences
- Ability to communicate positively with parents and colleagues
- Ability to take responsibility, when required, in the absence of the Coordinator
- Current and valid Working With Children Check clearance (or be willing to obtain)
