Offender Rehabilitation Specialist
Role Overview
As an Offender Rehabilitation Specialist, you will collaborate with individuals under supervision to develop and implement rehabilitative strategies, monitor progress toward established goals, and conduct home visits to ensure compliance with conditions.
This role involves case management of people subject to community-based orders, including Parole Orders, Intensive Corrections Orders, and Community Corrections Orders.
* Work with individuals in custody to prepare them for successful reintegration into the community upon their release on parole.
Key responsibilities include fostering positive relationships between communities and justice, supporting local Aboriginal and CALD communities, and maintaining confidentiality while demonstrating integrity in all interactions.
Develop and implement effective strategies, manage emotionally charged situations, and address complex or controversial issues with decisiveness.
Requirements
