Our team is confident managing complex procedures, including recent mast cell tumour removals with skin‐flap reconstruction. Nurses are actively involved in:
* Surgical support
* Complex wound management
* Post‐operative care and follow‐up
Learning is shared openly, and nurses with additional experience and training support others — you're never expected to "just cope" on your own.

We offer competitive hourly rates, with higher pay available for nurses who hold advanced registration with the Veterinary Practice Board and bring a strong, demonstrated clinical skillset.

Clinical environment
You'll be supported by well‐resourced facilities, including:
* Full in‐house bloods (CBC, biochemistry, electrolytes)
* X‐ray and ultrasound
* Cautery
* Dedicated cat and dog wards
* Modern, specialised surgical suite
* Three multiparameter monitors, including capnography
Our vets have strong interests in soft‐tissue surgery and ultrasonography, with advanced training that benefits the whole team.
Who we're looking for
You'll have:
* Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
* 2+ years' clinical experience as a Veterinary Nurse
Just as importantly, you'll bring:
* Clear, respectful communication
* Reliability and adaptability
* A genuine desire to support patients and colleagues
