We specialise in Alarms, access control systems, CCTV, automated gates, and automatic doors — and we're looking for professionals who take pride in delivering quality outcomes.
The Role
As a Gate Technician at Automated Security, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality installations and service across a range of electronic security systems. Your day-to-day work will include:
* Installing and commissioning automated swing, sliding, and boom gates
* Servicing and repairing gate motors, control boards, safety devices, and access interfaces
* Integrating intercoms and access control systems with gate hardware
* Servicing of automatic door operators and sensors
* Documenting all work using mobile workflow tools
* Liaising with clients and suppliers to resolve technical issues professionally
* Maintaining compliance with WHS and relevant standards
You'll work independently and as part of a close-knit team, using smart workflows and mobile tools to deliver reliable, well-documented service.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience with gate automation systems (motors, controls, safety devices)
* Strong fault-finding and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills
* Familiarity with access control and intercom integration
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* White Card and relevant trade certifications (e.g. Restricted Electrical Licence or equivalent)
* Drivers Licence (preferably manual)
