JV Recruitment is currently on the hunt for a welder / boilermaker in Geelong.
It will be a factory based, Shot / Mig structural steel welding role, focused on building structures for large commercial sites. The hours will be 2pm - 10pm, Monday - Friday.
This is an immediate start position. The client has several major projects in the pipeline, meaning the work has potential to continue well into ****.
A Cert 3 in Boilermaking / Welding is essential for this role.
ON OFFER
$45-$50 per hour + super + coinvest
Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
Time and a half and double time rates paid for overtime

ROLE DUTIES
Mig / Shot Welding of Heavy Structural Steel
To be able to weld all positions
Working unsupervised
Reading and Interpreting Engineering drawings
Inspect your welds for integrity
Key requirements needed to apply
Cert 3 in Welding / boilermaking
Mig / Shot Welding experience (Desirable) with 2 years of experience
Working unsupervised
