We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to become an integral member of our busy solar and battery farm FIFO team.
Casual positions working at sites in Qld, NSW and Vic are available for immediate start. The successful applicant will report directly to our Service Manager. The role includes interesting and varied electrical work as applicable to large scale solar and battery farms.
Every site is different, but some of the work tasks include:
DC, LV and HV construction
IV Curve Testing of Solar Panels
Electrical and mechanical works on multi-Megawatt inverters, and inverter stations. (Construction, Repair, O&M)
Transformer testing
Integration of inverters to MV transformers (LV side only)
Install Energy Monitoring systems
Hot commissioning works
Cold commissioning works
Support inverter manufacturer's engineers and technicians
Experience required:
Experience in all areas of electrical contracting
Technical knowledge of products and services within the electrical contracting industry
Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
Ensure the Policies & Quality systems of the Company are implemented, and maintained at all levels.
Great problem solving capability and ability to develop creative solutions
Excellent communication skills
Team player with a determined and competitive attitude and a passion for the trade
Electricians license, drivers license, whitecard, working at heights, first aid and LV rescue
Willingness to travel and work remotely
Excellent Work Ethic & Commitment to Safety
Must be an Australian Permanent Resident.
