What You'll Be Doing
Provide clinical management and treatment of patients in a South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) facility under your care. Care will be provided under clinical privileges granted by the Chief Executive on the advice of the Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee (MDAAC).
Engage in service innovation, supervise and mentor registrars and junior medical staff, and contribute to models of care for a growing and diverse population. Work within a network of senior clinicians with links to academic and teaching opportunities, and access to contemporary clinical infrastructure.
Contribute to high-quality psychiatric care and multidisciplinary collaboration in the redeveloped Campbelltown Mental Health Service, including acute, subacute and specialist units.

South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) – a dynamic provider serving over 966,450 residents across seven local government areas. The district combines urban and rural communities and operates a network of hospitals, community health centers and specialty services.
What You'll Need to Bring
Qualifications: Current medical practitioner registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia; Fellow of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or other specialist recognition as provided under the Health Insurance Act 1973.
Experience and Skills: Demonstrated current clinical practice of a high standard; ability to adapt practice to contemporary evidence-based standards; commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management; experience teaching and training at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, including supervision of junior medical staff; commitment to continuing self-education and continuing professional development; ability to work in a public health organisation and participate in on-call rosters; ability to work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team.
