We're looking for an enthusiastic
HSEQ Manager
to join our team in Traralgon, Victoria.
About Your Role
As our
HSEQ Manager
, you'll be responsible for ensuring safety is a priority in everything we do. You'll lead the development and improvement of our safety systems, manage safety performance, and ensure all work is done safely and in compliance with regulations. You'll work closely with employees, contractors, and clients to maintain a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Experience in mining management and maintenance, with a focus on safety
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive approach to identifying and managing safety risks
A leadership style that promotes teamwork and safety
A track record of managing safety programs and improving safety performance
Experience in maintenance management, especially in mining or conveyor industries, is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Must have previous experience in HSE Management – Minimum 5 years
Develop and implement safety strategies to elevate health and safety standards.
Lead Risk Management initiatives, including Risk Assessments and process improvements.
Manage incident investigations, reporting, and response strategies.
Conduct compliance audits and activities in line with HSE legislation.
Maintain and update HSE management systems, policies, and procedures.
Champion safety engagement and communication, ensuring that all team members are equipped
with the knowledge, tools, and support to perform their work safely
Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancing safety performance and employee
engagement in safety initiatives
