About the role
HOOGEVEENS RIGGING SERVICES PTY LTD' is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis in Tamborine, QLD 4270. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our overall accounting operations.
What you'll be doing
* Reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts
* Preparing and submitting BAS and other statutory reports
* Basic BAS preparation experience is required for effective completion of statutory reporting duties
* Assisting with the preparation of financial statements
* Providing administrative support to the accounting team
* Identifying areas for process improvements and implementing efficient bookkeeping practices
What we're looking for
* Relevant experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, ideally within the Accounting and Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting industry
* Minimum 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience is essential for this position
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and Xero software
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficient in data entry and reconciliation
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organisational and time management skills
