Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. This role will involve supporting a team responsible for maintaining and repairing critical services and systems.
The Service Technician is the first point of contact for alerts and alarms, prioritizing rectification and determining whether escalation is required to third-party contractors.
The successful candidate will proactively perform inspections to ensure all critical infrastructure is operating correctly, identifying any potential risks to the infrastructure and buildings.
This position involves monitoring critical infrastructure 24/7 and making quick decisions on prioritizations and escalations based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond quickly to all service requests and emergency faults
* Undertake initial fault finding on equipment, determine the cause and implement the remediation of the fault
* Provide estimated timelines for repairs with key internal teams so communications with clients can be coordinated
* Undertake critical switching in the event of a failure to ensure no disruption to critical services
* Ensure all planned contractor maintenance activities are completed in accordance with the MOP and CDC policies
Experience in managing site critical infrastructure, utilising electronic monitoring systems, and escalating critical service issues is desirable.
