Byron Shire Council is currently recruiting for the newly created position of Supervisor Mobile Wash Station.

The successful applicant will meet the criteria outlined in the Position Description and, importantly, will oversee the logistics, staff, and day-to-day operations of Council’s Mobile Wash Station. This role supports the efficient and hygienic cleaning of reusable food ware at events, markets, and other activities across the Byron Shire.

Availability to work weekends, early mornings, and outside standard business hours is essential to support scheduled events and markets.

This is a 12-month fixed-term position, established as a trial for this new initiative.

* A term, part time position (minimum 24 hours per week - with scope to work up to 38 if when required)
* Salary and Conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with an appointment at a salary in the range of $35.51 to $41.15 per hour (dependent upon skills and experience).

Location:

This position is based at Mullumbimby, however Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
