About The Role
Townsville Home Care is looking for caring and reliable individuals to assist seniors in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship, and social support. If you have a passion for helping others and a positive attitude, we will provide the necessary training to support you in this role.
As a Home Care Worker, You Will
* Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients.
* Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.
* Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities.
* Encourage independence and well-being in a home environment.
What We're Looking For
This role is perfect for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and eager to make a difference - Providing personalised assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhancing their quality of life within their chosen community. You will be a valued member of the team, working closely with and reporting to our very supportive Senior Home Care Workers as needed.
While formal qualifications aren't required, you will need (or be willing to obtain):
* A current driver's license and a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes are essential for this role. (Reimbursement of $0.96 per KM is provided for use of own vehicle)
* A National Police Check.
