DUTIES
* Take full ownership of payroll operations for a large, dispersed workforce across multiple sites.
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of payrollcultors to ensure high performance and engagement.
* Manage all payroll cycles, including fortnightly and monthly runs, maintaining strict accuracy and compliance.
* Serve as the key point of contact for complex payroll queries, award interpretations, and compliance challenges.
* Ensure all statutory obligations are met, including tax reporting, superannuation, and other regulatory requirements.
* Review and reconcile payroll data to financial records and work closely with Finance for ($) reporting accuracy.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency, controls, and data integrity.
SKILLS REQUIRED
* Extensive experience managing payroll functions in high-volume, multi-site organisations.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing a payroll team.
* In-depth understanding of Australian payroll legislation, modern awards, and enterprise agreements.ву>
* Pro appreciative with payroll and time & attendance systems, with a focus on improving system efficiency.
* Advanced analytical skills with the ability to produce accurate reporting and actionable insights.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly under tight deadlines.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for improving processes and operational excellence.
